Anti-doping control
Research has shown that between 10% and 15% of supplements may be contaminated with substances banned in sports. Even if contamination levels are low, an athlete undergoing doping testing can still test positive.
While contamination is often unintentional and caused by cross-contamination in manufacturing, botanical ingredients, or cross-contamination in the supply chain/ingredients, third-party testing and certification for banned substances provides Maxx Nutrition with an additional level of quality assurance and trust with our customers.

Nutritional information verification
A 2024 study of several energy gel brands found that some had lower carbohydrate content than the actual carbohydrate content of each product. This can significantly impact an athlete's performance during training or competition.
In the graph, we can see several gel brands with their respective declared carbohydrate values (% declared on the label). Some brands are below the ideal 100%. An extreme case was Spring Gel, with a declared value almost 70% lower than the actual value.
This seal on our products ensures that they contain the declared nutritional information and are free of prohibited substances.
